Every number, in the open.
Most jewelers mark gold up 8 to 12 times. That is not because gold is expensive. Gold is a commodity, priced openly on global markets. It is because the business is built on mystery. We are not.
This piece weighs 27.78g of 10k gold. At today’s live gold price, the gold alone is worth $1,508.79. The rest, $1,879.21, is everything else: making, marketing, rent, insurance, card fees, and our food and shelter, itemized in the receipt. That is the whole math. Nothing hidden in a velvet box.
